Information on the recall of Dell original laptop batteries
Dell has issued a recall of 4.1 million laptop batteries. OriginalBatteries.co.uk resells Dell original batteries, our Dell supplier has advised us that some of the original Dell batteries they supplied to OriginalBatteries.co.uk could be affected by the recall. We have taken steps to remove affected batteries from our stock.
Advice to customers
OriginalBatteries.co.uk recommends that if you have a Dell branded battery, you confirm that your battery is unaffected, by logging on to the Dell recall programme at:

The site will guide you with a simple two step process on how to confirm whether your battery is affected or not. By keying in the unique PPD serial number found on all Dell batteries, you will be able to quickly confirm if your battery needs to be recalled or not.
